I’ve been looking for a good pair of black pumps for a while, and while I’m still in search of that perfect pair, my attention was caught on a pair of snakeskin pumps with a totally practical 4.5" heel. A relatively new brand (debut in 2008), Velvet Angels is designed by Joe Ponce, former head designer and brand manager of the Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers brands. Besides the style, there is built in technology and comfort (yes, this is the practical bit) in the shoes, so I can walk around in these all day if I chose.
I went conservative (as much as towering 4.5 inches can be conservative) choosing the black snakeskin instead of red or yellow.
